Horses For Sale Are Offered Everywhere

The number of horses for sale has grown in size, largely due to economic slow down. Owners simply cannot afford to keep these expensive animals. Many horses end up in shelters simply because their owners can no longer afford to keep them. Even high-priced and well-trained show horses are selling for a small amount of what they used to sell for.

A horse is a long-term investment. One should take great care in the selection process, and put a lot of thought into whether he or she can maintain an animal on a constant basis. Animals can easily be found in all price ranges and breeds, and in almost every geographic area. The buyer should be prepared to ask the seller numerous detailed questions before making a decision to purchase a particular horse.

The first step is to make a decision on how the horse will be used. Decide what type of riding will be focused on, whether it is recreational riding, hunters, showjumping, endurance riding, dressage or three-day eventing. This helps to narrow down the search, enabling a buyer to successfully and efficiently find the right horse.

There is a huge variety of resources available to buyers for locating a suitable horse. A large amount of websites specialize in listing sale horses for any riding discipline, all breeds and locations. Sellers can upload photos on the site. The buyer can usually sort sales lists by price, breed, or geographic location. Most show sale horses all over the world.

Other more conventional methods include contacting breeders or trainers, or talking to breed associations. There is an association for almost every breed in existence. Individual sellers still advertise in conventional classified advertisements, especially if these ads are in horse magazines. Auctions are places where animals can be purchased quickly and at a low price. One should be an experienced horse person to ensure that the right animal is successfully chosen.

When visiting a prospect, bring a knowledgeable and trusted friend, colleague or trainer. Trainers charge a small fee for assisting in the search for a horse. This is worth the cost in order to find a good horse. Get either the trainer or the second person to ride the horse. Review the animal's ground manners as well. All of this provides good information regarding the horse's training and attitude.

It is a good idea to have the horse examined by a licensed veterinarian before completing the purchase. A thorough stress test should be included in the examination. The value of x-rays is somewhat controversial, however. Some believe x-rays are necessary to verify whether a horse has a developing lameness issue. Others do not think x-rays provide any value. They are believed to erroneously indicate a problem when none exist.

A pre-purchase veterinary exam is recommended. This should include a complete stress test to rule out lameness. Some people like to have x-rays taken, but the efficacy of performing such a procedure is somewhat questionable. Certain individuals feel that x-rays are necessary to determine if there are any developing leg abnormalities. Others feel x-rays may falsely reveal issues that really are not problems.

Survey botnets with the cryptographic

Abstract.

As the technology has been developed, network bot, botnet, issue has been huge in the information society. Most botnets network security threats and causes they are based on C & C server such as IRC, running the HTTP [1] and more recently also connect P2P botnet construction and characteristics Bot and activities are all different depending on the structure of the botnet. That is why research existed many, too, and it is useful categorize and classify defense mechanisms bot. The bot activities involve a large number of negative effects such as DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) and spamming. The mechanisms for detecting bots and defenses can be classified into C & C based on the detection of bots and P2P based on the detection of bot. A key aspect of the administration botnet is the authenticity and integrity controls. Asymmetric cryptography offers a simple and effective for this purpose and methodology is discussed here.

Keywords: botnet, the bot detection, P2P bot C & C bot, cryptography

1. INTRODUCTION

The characteristic of attacks found coordinates is exactly what hackers / attackers to compromise a computer or at the request of their network for illegal purposes. Once a group of hosts with different locations are controlled by a malicious individual or organization to initiate an attack, it is difficult to trace the origin because the complexity of the Internet. For this reason, the increase in events and threats against the legitimate Internet businesses such as information , Fraud leaks, denial of service (DoS) attacks, and E-mail spam, etc., have become very serious problems today [1]. These victims are controlled coordinated by attackers called zombies or bots, which derives from the word "robot". The term spam is commonly called the software applications running automated tasks over the Internet [2]. In such a command and control (C2 or C & C) infrastructure, a group robots are capable of forming a self-propagating, self-organization and an autonomous, called botnet [3]. Generally, to compromise a series systems, the botnet master (also known as Herder or the author) will remotely control to install spam bots worms, Trojans, backdoors on them [3]. The majority of these victims are running Microsoft Windows operating system [3]. The process of flying resources accommodates up to a botnet is called "Scrumping [3].

Botnets can be classified into two broad categories according to their topologies [4]. A typical and most common type is the Internet Relay Chat (IRC) based botnets. Because of its centralized architecture, the researchers designed Most of the cons-feasible measures to detect and destroy these botnets [5, 6]. Thus, newer and more sophisticated hackers / attackers start using the Peer to Peer (P2P) networking technologies zombies [4,7]. P2P botnets are distributed and do not necessarily focus failure. Comparing-IRC botnets, they may be more difficult to detect and withdrawal [4]. Moreover, most studies are still existing in the analysis phase [4, 7].

The organization of the paper is as follows. In Section 2, Botnet classification given.Section Items 3 describes the attacks. Section 4 develop mechanisms for detecting and tracing. Preventive measures are given in Section 5. The conclusion and future challenges are presented in Section 6.

2. RANKING

Botnets are emerging threats with billions 'Worldwide infected hosts. Bots can spread over thousands of computers at very high speed such as worms do. Unlike worms, bots in a botnet are capable of cooperating malicious towards a common goal. For this reason, botnets today play a very important in internet malware epidemic [16]. In [19], Strayer, WT et al. introduced some measures flow analysis on the detection botnets. After filtering IRC session on the traffic flow methods based on discrimination have been applied to benign channel IRC malicious. The methods proposed by [20] and [21] associated with both the application analysis and network layer. E. Cooke et al. [22] dealt IRC activities at the application layer, using information from the monitoring network activities. Some authors have introduced learning techniques machine detection, botnet [23] because they have a better way to characterize botnets. Currently, honeynets and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) are two main techniques to prevent their attacks. Honeynets can be deployed in both distributed and local context [9]. They are capable of providing botnet attack information, but can not tell the details, as if the victim has a certain worm [9]. The IDS uses signatures or behavior of botnets for existing references to detect potential attacks. So, to summarize the characteristics of botnets is significant for a network Secure. To the best of our knowledge, we found no abnormality in connection with other work on detection of botnet.

2.1 Training and operation

To illustrate the formation and operation, we take as an example spamming botnet. Training typical botnet can be described as following steps [3]

1) The author of botnet sending viruses or worms to infect victims' machines, whose payload are bots.

2) The bots on infected hosts connect to an IRC server or other means of communication, forming a botnet.

3) Spammer sends payment to the owner of the botnet to get the right access.

4) spammer sends commands to the botnet to order the bots to send spam.

5) The infected hosts send spam messages to different mail servers on the Internet.

2.2 -Based IRC Bot

IRC is a protocol based on the text for instant messaging between people connected to the Internet. It is based on the client / server (C / S) model but adapted for a distributed environment, and [18]. Typical Severs IRC are interconnected and pass messages from one to another [18]. You can connect with hundreds of customers through multiple servers. It is so called several IRC (mIRC), in which communications between clients and servers are pushed to those who are connected to the channel. The functions of IRC bots basis include managing access lists, moving files, customers sharing, sharing of information channels, and so on [18].

• Bot: An executable file is usually triggered by Order specific IRC break. Once a bot is installed on a victim host, it will make a copy in a configurable directory and allow malicious program start with the operating system. In general, bots are only responsible to or how to open a backdoor [18].

• command channel: IRC is a secure channel established by the attacker to manage all bots.

• IRC Server: May be a compromised machine or even a legitimate public service.

• Forward: he who controls the bot attack IRC.

The operations were attacking four stages [16]:

1) Stage of development, where the attacker may add malicious code or simply edit an existing outside of very many configurable spam bots on the internet [16].

2) the configuration of the stadium, where the server IRC channel information can be collected [16]. While the bot is installed on the victim, it will connect automatically to the selected host [16]. Then the attacker May restrict access and secure channel for the bots for business or for other purposes [16]. For example, the attacker is able to provide a list of bots to authorized users who want to further customize and use for their own purposes.

3) Infection Stage, where bots are spread by various means direct and indirect [16]. As its name implies, direct techniques exploit vulnerabilities services or operating systems, and are generally associated with the use of viruses [16]. While the vulnerable systems are compromised, they continue the infection process such as recording the time of the attack to add other victims [16]. Most systems vulnerable Windows 2000 and XP SP1, where the hacker can easily find unpatched or insecure (for example, without firewall) is the host [16]. By cons, other programs use indirect approaches as a proxy to distribute spam, for example, using malicious software distributed by DCC (Direct Client-to-Client) file sharing on IRC or on the P2P networks to exploit the vulnerabilities of the target machines [16].

4) Control Stage, where the attacker can send instructions to a group of robots through the IRC channel to some malicious tasks.

2.3 P2P-based Bot

Few papers focus on P2P-based bot so far [4, 24-29, 46]. It is still a difficult question. In fact, using ad hoc host the P2P network is to control the victim not a new technique [26]. P2P communication system is much more difficult to disrupt. This means that the compromise of a single robot does not necessarily mean the loss of the entire botnet. However, the design of P2P systems are more complex and there are usually no guarantees on message delivery and latency. A worm with a P2P called Slapper [27], the infected system Linux DoS attack in 2002. He used hypothetical clients to send commands to the compromised machines and receive answers from them [27]. Thus, its network location anonymous and could be easily be controlled [27]. A year later, another P2P-based bot emerged, called Dubbed Sinite [28]. He used to put the public key cryptography for authentication. Later, in 2004, Phatbot [29] was created to send commands to other compromised hosts using a P2P system. Currently, Storm Worm [24] may be the most popular P2P bot on the Internet. T. Holz et al. analyzed using binary and monitoring network [24]. Moreover, they also proposed some techniques to disrupt the communication based P2P on botnet, eclipsing such as content and pollute the file.

However, the top of P2P-based bots are not mature and have many weaknesses. Many P2P networks have a central server or a list of seed peers who may be contacted for adding a new pair. This process has a bootstrap designated single point of failure for aP2P botnet-based [25]. For this reason, the authors of [25] presented a hybrid P2P botnet specific to overcome this problem.

2.4 Types of Bots

Several types of robots in the network have already been discovered and studied [9, 16, 17]. Table I present more widespread and well known robots and their basic functions.

Types

Features

Agobot

Phatbot

Forbot

XtremBot

  1. They are so widespread that more than 500 variants exist in the Internet today. Agobot is the only bot that can use other IRC Besides control protocols [9]. It offers various approaches to hide spam bots on compromised hosts, including NTFS Alternate Data Stream polymorphic

Encryptor Engine Killer and Antivirus [16].

SDBot

Rbot

UrBot

UrXBot

SDBot is the basis of the three robots and probably many more [9]. Different Agobot, the code is unclear and has only limited functions. Even so, this group of robots is still widely used in the Internet [16].

SpyBot

NetBIOS

Kuang

NetDevil

KaZaa

There are hundreds of variants of Spybot today [17]. The Most of their frames C2 appear to be shared with or evolved from SDBot [17]. Accountability but do not hide their purpose or malicious code-based [17].

mIRC-based

GT-Bots

GT (Global Threat) is based mIRC bot bot. It allows a mIRC chat client based on a set binaries (mostly DLLs) and scripts [16]. He often hides the application window

compromised hosts to make mIRC invisible to user [9].

DSNX Bots

The DSNX (Data Network Spy X) bot has a plug-in convenient interface to add a new function [16]. Same if the default version does not meet the requirement of spreaders plugins can help correct this problem [9].

Q8 Bots

It is designed for OS Linux / Unix with the common features of a bot, such as HTTP dynamic update, several DDoS attacks, execution of arbitrary and so on. [9].

Kaiten

It is quite similar to Q8 Bots due to the same runtime environment and they lack and spreader. Kaiten has a remote shell easily, so it is convenient to further control

vulnerabilities via IRC [9].

Based on Perl Bots

Many variations written on Perl today [9]. They are so small that only a hundred lines of code against the robot collectors [9]. Thus, limited basic commands are available for the attacks, especially DDoS attacks in Unix-based systems [9].

3. Botnet attack

Botnets can be used for both legitimate and illegitimate purposes [6]. One objective is legitimate support operations of IRC channels and use the administrative privileges on specific individuals. However, such a goal does not satisfy the number of spam bots we've seen. Based on the wealth of data recorded in Honeypots [9], the possibilities of using botnets for criminal or destructive purposes may be classified as follows.

3.1 DDoS attacks

Botnets are often used for DDoS attacks [9], which can disable the network service system of the victim by eating bandwidth. For example, an author of May to the botnet to connect to the IRC channel first victim, and then this target can be flooded by thousands of service requests the botnet. In this kind of DDoS attack, the victim IRC network is taken down. Evidence reveals that the most commonly implemented by the botnets are Attacks TCP SYN and UDP floods [30].

General countermeasure against DDoS attacks, we must: (1) control a large number of compromised machines, (2) disable the mechanism of remote control [30]. However, we need more effective ways to prevent such attacks. FC Freiling et al. [30] presented an approach to preventing attacks by DDoS against spam bots hiding in exploration honeypots.

3.2 "spamming" and Spreading Malware

Approximately 70% to 90% of spam in the world are caused by botnets today, which has the most experienced in the industry of Internet security concerned [47, 49]. Study Report indicates that Once the SOCKS v4/v5 proxy (TCP / IP RFC 1928) on the compromised hosts is opened by some robots, these machines may be used for nefarious tasks, for example, spamming. Besides, some robots are able to gather email addresses for specific functions [9]. Therefore, Attackers can use such a botnet to send massive amounts of spam [31]. Researchers in [32] have proposed a distributed content network Independent spam classification, called Trinity, cons spam from botnets. The designer assumes that spam bots will send a mass e-mails a short time. Therefore, any letter of the address may be spam.

To discover all the behaviors of spamming botnet and benefit from its detection in the future, Y. Xie et al. [33] have designed a framework for signatures of spam generation named Author. They also found several characteristics of spamming botnet: (1) often adds a random spammer and legitimate URL in the letter to avoid the detection [33], (2) IP addresses botnet is usually spread over several ASes (Autonomous Systems), with machines that some participants in each AS on average [33], (3) Despite the content of spam is different addresses of the recipients may be similar [33]. How To Use these features to capture and prevent botnet spamming is useful for future research. Similarly, botnets can be used to propagate malware too [9]. For example, can run Witty Worm botnet to attack the ICQ protocol system for victims of May is not enabled Internet Security Systems (ISS) services [9].

3.3 Information Leakage

Because some spam bots May not only sniff traffic through compromised machines, but also the data command in victims, perpetrators can retrieve sensitive information like usernames and passwords to botnets easily [9]. Evidence indicates that botnets are becoming more sophisticated in quick scan in the host data significant corporate and financial [47]. Since spam bots rarely affects the running performance of infected systems, they are often out of area Monitoring and difficult to take. Keylogging is the ideal solution for internal attack [9.16]. This type of bot to listen for keyboard activities and then reports to his master relevant information after input filtering sense. This allows the attacker to steal thousands of private information and credential data [16].

3.4 Click Fraud

With the help of botnets, the authors advertising are able to install add-ons and help navigation objects (BHO) for commercial purposes [9]. Like AdSense Google, for the sake get a higher rate (CTR), the authors May usebotnets periodically to click on specific links and Malthus Promote CTR artificially [9]. This is also effective in surveys or online games [9]. For the host of each victim is the owner of an address Unique IP scattered around the world, every single click is considered a valid action from a legitimate person.

Theft Identity 3.5

Identity Fraud, identity theft as also called, is a growing crime on the Internet [9]. Email phishing is a typical case. It usually includes legitimate as the URL and asks the receiver to submit personal or confidential information. These mails can be generated and sent by a botnet spamming through mechanisms [9]. In a later stage, botnets can also set up several fake Web sites pretending to be an official business sites with information for victims of harvest. Once a fake site is closed its owner, another may appear, until you turn off the computer.

4. DETECTION AND TRACKING

Currently, several different approaches to identify and trace the botnets have been proposed or attempted. First and most generally, the use of honeypots, where a sub-network pretends to be compromised by a Trojan, but by observing actual behavior of the aggressors, has been the host of monitoring to be identified [22]. In relevant cases, Freiling et al. [30] have established a practicable way to detect DDoS attacks certain types of meals by the botnet. To begin, use honeypot and stakeholders to gather assets bot binaries. Then pretend to join the botnet compromised machine as a bot running on the honeypot and enable them to access IRC server. In the end, the botnet is infiltrated by a silent drone for the collection of information, which may be useful in dismantling networks zombies. Another method commonly used and is also in the form of insider information for monitoring an IRC-based botnet [11]. The third but not the least common approach for detecting botnets is exploring DNS caches on the network to resolve IP addresses destination servers [11].

4.1 Honeypot and Honeynet

Honeypots are known for their strong ability to detect threats to security, malware collect and understand the behavior and motivations of their authors. Honeynet for the supervision of a extensive network of diverse, consists of more than a honeypot on a network. Most researchers focus on Linux-based Honeynet, for the obvious reason that compared to any other platform, more Honeynet tools are freely available Linux [6]. Consequently, only few tools support the deployment Pot honey on Windows and start intruders proactively Remove the pot of honey.

Some researchers aim to design a firewall reagents or related means to prevent multiple commitments of honeypots [6]. Even if a port is detected compromised by such a firewall, inbound attacks on it can be blocked [6]. This operation should be conducted in secret to avoid raising the suspicions of the attacker. Evidence tells us we must use less covert protection against honeypots many compromises by worms, because worms are used to detect its presence [6]. Because that many hackers toolbox download in a day immediate victim, should we block traffic correspond only selectively. These toolkits are significant evidence for future analysis. Thus, to some extent, access attackers "for Honeypots should not be prevented very well [6].

Since honeypots have become increasingly popular in the monitoring and defense systems, intruders start looking for a way to avoid the pitfalls of honeypot evaded [34]. There are techniques that can detect honeypots. For example, to detect the likes of VMware or other virtual machines [35.36], or to detect the responses of the program defective honeypot [37]. In [38], Bethencourt et al. honeypots were able to identify the intelligent use of survey report to government statistics. In addition, Krawetz [39] presented to the spamming business tool that can function anti-honeypot, called "Send-Safe Honeypot Hunter". By checking the answer of remote proxy spammer is able to detect honeypot open proxies [39]. However, this tool can not detect other except honeypot actually open proxy. Recently, Zou CC, et al. [34] proposed another method for detecting honeypot-based independent software and hardware. In their article, they have also introduced an efficient approach to locate and remove infected honeypots using a structured P2P botnet [34]. All above evidence indicate that, where botnet becomes invisible honeypot, relevant research should be improved.

4.2 IRC-based Detection

IRC-based botnet largely what is studied and several features have been discovered to date detection. One way simple to detect such botnets is to sniff traffic on common IRC ports (TCP port 6667), then check if payloadsmarch chains in our Knowledge Base [22]. However, botnets can use random ports to communicate. Therefore, finding a different approach to behavioral characteristics robots is presented. S. Root [40] found IRC-based bots collectors were often slow and has responded after receiving instruction specific. Thus, connections with such features can be marked as potential enemies. Nevertheless, he still has a high rate of false positive results.

There are also other methods exist for the IRC-based botnet detection. Barford et al. [17] have proposed approaches based on analysis of source code. Rajab et al. [11] introduced a modified version of IRC client called Tracker, which was able to connect IRC Sever and response queries automatically. Given a model of fingerprints and relevant, the tracker could instantiate IRC a new session on the IRC server [11]. In the case where the bot master could find the true identity of the tracker, it has emerged as a powerful and accurate bot on the Internet and malicious execute each order, including responses to the attacker [11]. Following, we will introduce methods of detection cons based IRC botnet.

4.2.1 Detection Based on Traffic Analysis

Signature of technology is often used in anomaly detection. The basic idea is to retrieve background information on the packet traffic and March, the Registered Designs in the knowledge base of existing robots. Apparently, it is easy to make a simple comparison between each byte in the packet, but it also goes with several drawbacks [45]. First, it is unable to identify spam collectors undefined [45]. Secondly, it should always update the knowledge base with new signatures, which increases the cost of management and performance reducesthe [45]. Thirdly, the spam bots to launch new attacks in May before they are patched in the knowledge base [45].

Based on the characteristics of the IRC, other techniques for detecting botnet rising. Essentially, two types of actions are involved in normal communication IRC. One is interactive command and another is the exchange messages [45]. If we can identify the transaction with a specified program IRC, it is possible to detect a botnet attack [45]. For example, the information private is copied by any other place by some IRC commands, we claim the system is under attack from a normal behavior chatting will never do that [45]. Moreover, traffic may be encrypted or be hidden by the noise of the network [21]. Any situation will the bots invisible.

In [45] The authors observed the actual traffic on IRC Communication Ports from 6666 to 6669. They found that some IRC clients sending repeated information connection while the server rejected the connection [45]. According to the experiment result, they are spam bots This photo Some repeat these actions at intervals after refusing the IRC server, and these times are different [45]. However, they do not consider a real founded on IRC botnet attack in their experience. This is a possible future work to extend their achievements.

In [49] P. Sroufe et al. proposed a different method for detecting botnet. Their approach can efficiently and automatically identify spam or bots. The main idea is extracting the shape of the Email (lines and the number of characters in each line) by applying an estimator of the density of Gaussian kernel [49]. Email form Similar suspected. However, the authors do not show how to detect botnets using this method. It may be another Future work is worth studying.

4.2.2 Anomaly Detection based activities

In [21], the authors proposed an algorithm for anomaly detection on the botnet. He combined IRC features mesh with the protocol TCP-module anomaly detection. It was first observed and recorded a large number of TCP packets from host IRC. Based on the calculated ratio the total amount of TCP control packets (eg, SYN, SYNACK, FIN, and resets) the total number of TCP packets, it can detect certain activities anomaly [21]. They called the report that the weight and TCP Download high value implied that the potential of an attack by a scanner or worm [21]. However, this May mechanism will not work if the orders of the IRC were coded as the discussion in [21].

4.3 DNS Tracking

Since spam collectors used to send DNS queries to access servers C2, if we can intercept their names domain, botnet traffic can be captured by a blacklist of domain names [41, 42]. In reality, it also provides a secondary means important to identify botnets by disabling their ability to spread [11]. H. Choi et al. [41] discussed the characteristics of botnet DNS. According to their analysis, botnets, DNS queries can be easily distinguished from legitimate [41]. Firstly, the bots can send DNS queries for domain servers C2, a self never to do [41]. Secondly, members of botnet act together and move simultaneously, and their DNS queries [41]. Considering legitimate that occurs continuously vary from a botnet [41]. Third, legitimate hosts DDNS will not use very often while usually use DDNS for Server botnet C2 [41]. Based on the above characteristics, they have developed an algorithm to identify queries Botnet DNS [41]. Their main idea is to compute the similarity of group activities, and botnet distinguish them according to its value. The similarity value is defined as 0.5 (C / C + A / B), where A and B for the size of the two lists somecommon which requested IP addresses and IP have the same domain, and C is to double the size of IP addresses [41]. If the approximate value of zero, the common domain, such are suspected [41].

There are also other approaches. Dagon et al. [42] presented a method by examining the rate of motion of domain DDNS. Abnormally high concentrated temporally or were suspected, because attackers have changed servers often C2 [44]. They used two Mahalanobis distance and inequality Chebyshev to quantify how the rate is abnormal [44]. Schonewille et al. [43] showed that when the C2 servers had been shot, DDNS response would often called failure. Hosts several occasions that these requests can be infected and Malthus to be suspected [43]. In [44], authors have evaluated the two above methods through experiments on real world. They picture that the approach of Dagon was not as effective because it misclassified some areas C2 server with a short lifespan, while the comparative method Schonewille has been effective because of the name came from suspect private and independent [44]. In [48] X. Hu et al. proposed botnet detection system called RB-Seeker (Seeker Redirection Botnet). It is capable automatically detect botnets in any structure. RB-Seeker spam bots collects information on primary activities of the redirect (by example, the temporal and spatial) of two subsystems. Then it uses the statistical methodology and Query DNS exploring the art of distinguishing the field of legitimate malicious. Result experience shows that RB-Seeker is an effective tool for detecting both "aggressive" and "stealth" botnets.

5. Strong Cryptography

5.1Tamper command and update the evidence plan

A key aspect of the administration botnet is the authenticity and integrity controls. A robot must not accept orders issued by Botmaster. In the botnets being the commonly botmasters Use only a very weak form of authenticity, for example. Using a simple scheme password before sending the actual command. Although botnets use strong authentication schemes, they can generally be broken, for example., Storm Worm uses 64-bit RSA implementation that can be defeated. In centralized IRC botnets, this lack of authenticity could for example, be resolved by patching the IRC server used to control the distribution so that only the Botmaster can send messages to the designated channel. However, when dealing with a decentralized network of equal peers Botmaster needs to ensure that defenders are not as hostile parties or other groups may poison the botnet botnet by injecting malicious commands.

Asymmetric cryptography offers a simple, yet effective way to do this: Before releasing a bot in the wild, the Botmaster creates a public / private pair cryptographic key which is the previous hard-coded into the bot binary. This allows Botmaster to safely sign all orders or files using its private key. All peers in the botnet are able to verify the commands using the public key drive, but given reasonable length key (eg.2048 bit RSA), will defend not forge the signature.

5.2Rent a botnet

With the help of asymmetric cryptography, Botmaster one can act as a certification authority trust, which provides an effective way to rent the botnet to other parties or in whole, for a variable amount of time, and to protect against malicious purposes. To Some tenants, it is advisable to implement a black list containing all public invalidated keys. This blacklist is stored on the computer of each bot, and only Botmaster may add or delete keys using his public key Closed to sign the order. Thus, all certificates belonging to a malicious user may be revoked.

However, such a blacklist is of little use against attacks that only require a little time to be completed. For example, a tenant malicious botnet could use a check for the distribution of mails and misuse it by ordering all the spam bots to send an e-mail address determined, thus revealing their IP address or other sensitive data. Indeed, an attacker could conveniently get valuable information on the size the botnet and its overall structure. Therefore, renting a botnet would be considered an option that should be used with care by a Botmaster.

6. PREVENTIVE MEASURES

Need only a couple of hours for the classics to go around the world since out of a single host. If the worms using botnet appear simultaneously from multiple hosts, they are capable of infecting the majority of vulnerable hosts in the world within minutes [7]. Some botnets have been discussed in previous sections. Nevertheless, there are still many of them are unknown. How to reduce the risk caused by botnets in the future is the subject we discussed in this section.

6.1 Countermeasures on the botnet attacks

Unfortunately, few solutions exist for the host DoS attack against a botnet to date [3]. But it is difficult to find patterns of malicious hosts, network administrators can still identify botnet-based attacks on fingerprinting operating system passive equipment from the most recent firewall [3]. The life cycle botnet tell us often using spam bots free DNS hosting services to redirect a subdomain to an IP address unreachable. Thus, removing these services May get such a botnet [3]. Currently, many security companies focus on offers to stop botnets [3]. Some of them protect consumers, while most others are designed for ISPs or companies [3]. The different products to try identify bot behavior by anti-virus software. The company's products have nothing better solutions than nullrouting DNS entries or close down IRC servers and other key identified after a botnet attack [3].

6.2 Countermeasures for Public

Inevitably, security personnel or society depends on communication partners [7]. Building a good relationship with these partners is essential. Firstly, must constantly ask the service provider for security packages, such as firewalls, anti-virus tool-kit, etc. Utility intrusion detection. [7]. Once something goes wrong, there should be a phone number to call for correspondents [7]. Secondly, we should also pay much attention on network traffic and report to the ISP if attacked by a DDoS attack. ISP can help people with malicious Blocking IP addresses [7]. Thirdly, it is better to establish liability on its system, with enforcement authority [7]. Specifically, academics and industry have proposed strategies for home users and system administrators to prevent, detect and combat botnet attacks [16, 18]. We summarize their suggestions.

6.2.1 Home Users

6.2.2 System Administrator

Similarly, there are rules to match your system administrator to prevent, detect botnet attacks and react [16, 18]. As methods of prevention, vendor administrator must follow the instructions to update the system and its applications [18]. In addition, keep abreast of the latest vulnerabilities and control access and use of log files to ensure accountability [18]. As illustrated in Table III, they can help the system administrator to minimize the possibility of botnet attacks.

Moreover, identifying the number of victims through tools sniffer [16]. Finally, the ratio of infection to a security consultant [16].

7. CONCLUSION AND FUTURE CHALLENGES

To better understand the botnet and eventually stop its attacks, we provide a survey of existing research botnet. The content of Implies Training Discussion botnet and exploitation, and two typical topologies.

According to the discussion of Section 2, we have several ideas on topologies different. For questions IRC based botnet, the thorny problem is that we can not get the source code for most bots. Therefore, depth analysis at the network level and system level for spam bots behaviors are just for its activity. For P2P-based issues botnet, practice following challenges should be further taken into account: (1) Maintaining the rest of bots after some have been taken by the defenders, (2) hide the network topology of zombies while some robots are captured by the defenders, (3) more easily manage the botnet, (4) changing habits traffic more often and make it more difficult to detect.

As we can see, the detection and monitoring in botnet compromised host will continue to be difficult. Traffic fingerprint is useful to identify botnets. However, just like any technology the previous signature discussed in Section 3, its disadvantages are obvious. We need an update knowledge base to date for all the spam collectors Released in the world, which seems a mission impossible. Anomaly detection is another possible approach. However, when infected hosts do not behave like unusual, it may be unable to detect such a potential threat. Since the technology of detection depends on the current event has Product attack, no guarantee for us to find all possible hosts compromise. One of the interesting questions about the anomaly detection is effective time. If an attack occurs and we can capture is the anomaly in the first place and resolve the issues involved before it is used for malicious purposes, we say this anomaly detection is time efficient. We need to focus on time efficiency in the work future.

In a wireless environment, especially for ad hoc networks, we still do not get the search linked to both attack and defend to date. There are many open questions: (1) How to find the shortest route to attack target, (2) How to prevent compromised hosts fromdetecting in the wireless network, (3) How to spread the bots in the wireless network, especially before some compromised hosts offline.

There are also some interesting other outstanding issues must be considered. To the best of our knowledge, now we can not prevent DDoS attacks from botnets. Even the attacker has been detected, no effective means to track and fight against it. Instead, just simply close the compromised hosts or disconnect the network, pending additional command such as virus detection or formatting of the operating system. As matter of fact, what we need is effective in avoiding spam bots propagating in the first step. Perhaps the only effective approach to eliminate botnets is the deployment of new protocols on routers worldwide. It's really a huge project and beyond reality. So why not consider installing a local gateway? Imagine if the bridge could block communication between several areas of bots, an attacker would not manage easily compromised hosts in the world. In the meantime, the bridge could give our information on where the malicious command came. Based on the network by many accounts, it would be possible to retrieve the initial attack. However, it is very difficult to implement such an idea, for the following reasons: (1) It is difficult to distinguish malicious packets from traffic flow, (2) cooperating with the fields is not easy, and should examine the situation that some pathways are compromised, (3) How to trace the potential attack and must be noted for further analysis needs to be studied.

Horse breed question?

I'm confused with horse breeds, what is a thoroughbred and warmblood etc.. cause i was looking through a dirty magazine horse and saw that in The stock horse section there was an arabian in there but i thought that arabian was different from a stock horse. Can someone please fill me in.. and what is hotblood, warmblood ad Coldblood i looked on the internet and read that hot is like race horses and draft horses are cold and warm is like an allrounder. That all might sound confusing because i do not know what I'm talking about so can someone please fill me in on all the horse breeds as much as possible.

Arabians are often used as stock horses as they have great stamina and can work all day. Hot is blood or large draft horse. Cold are smaller and I do not know about warm bloods.

See friends and a dead animal as a new fracture?

My boyfriend and I are watching a farm friends. We saw this same place several times before without major incident. She has two horses, two dogs, chickens, two cats and a peacock. Well, I went riding one day and saw that we harness their cats are dead. She is on vacation in Europe and I could not ask him by telephone that one of his cats died, but its something that is difficult to break, because I know how much he loves animals. My friend is a doctor (a pathologist) performed the surgery and understand death and lost pets before (not in my shows). We buried the cat, who was quite old about 13 or more and it seemed he was sleeping. But I need some advice on how best to say and when ... She will be back next Monday ... Oh, I also wanted to have animals and know how difficult it is to lose, especially whether is has been long ...

you have to tell you the opposite is likely to seek the thoughts that ran, etc., is the peace of mind. But wait for his return, otherwise it could ruin your vacation:) Good luck, I know exactly how you feel .... (
