Horse For Sale?
Anyone is south west Wisconsin or south east Minnesota looking to buy a horse? I have a few to sell and it has been suggested to me that I should put them on the internet. Only problem is, there are so many different sites out there that I don't know which ones are good ones and which ones are bad ones. I have paints, quarters, mares, stallions, whenlings and yearlings and a couple of good broke ponies. 17 head total. Any suggestions would greatly be appreiciated!

Minature Horse Training for the Beginner!
Being a frontrunner in minature horse training means having a nil toleration policy towards your horse invading your personal space or disobeying your requests regardless of what his size. In the herd, the pecking order is often challenged. Stay vigilant as the pecking order is never set in stone. If you get slack, the horse will start to dominate you. Be firm, consistent and determined in applying your rules. It actually does matter.
Find Minature Horse Training Here!
Your horse will test you in tiny paths to see how serious you are. If you do not hold your ground over your space or do accept a delayed reply to a request, you're effectively eroding the respect he has for you. 'That's ok, I do not actually mean stop when I say so'. This is then a green flag for your horse to try on bigger and bigger misbehaviors. For example, don't let your horse kiss you. In fact, a bite is just a firm nibble isn't it? And a biting problem is not one you wish to be dealing with. Distressing for you, and difficult to get rid of. In this case, no kisses, no nibbles, no bites. Absolute CONSISTENCY is the key to fast minature horse training.
There needs to be Trust when working with minature horse training techniques.
One of the biggest reasons horses lack good ground manners is the fact they do not trust as well as respect the people who are handling them. Trust and respect go together and when you have attained that, the rest of your minature horse training is way easier. That's safe from his perspective, not yours. You might think he's perfectly safe in a trailer, but if he's never been in one you will need to show him that you'll go into one and that other horses agree it's safe too. Your job is to prove to your horse that regardless of what goes on around him, he will not be harmed. Angry bullying won't work. Losing your temper won't work. Let your horse know where you are and what you're up to as much as is possible. Be calm, be considerate, be affectionate, have patience. This trail leads to earning your horse's trust, an essential for a long and happy relationship.
No one, even a pony, enjoys all work and no play. Your aim is to persuade your horse to predict relaxing with you. What your horse likes will be individual, but most horses have a place on their body they like having scratched or rubbed. This can be a reward for obedience. Many minature horses enjoy the mental stimulation of the minature horse training if it's not repeated continually at one go. Ten or fifteen mins is sufficient. And horses like variety in their 'work'. So infrequently go out for a trail ride, infrequently do some jumping, sometimes do some jumping, occasionally in the ring. Mix it up and keep it fascinating. A bored horse is a cranky pony, and anyone in a bad mood is likely to misbehave.
Find Minature Horse Training Here!
The horse likes a life of comfort. That implies, a life free from irritants as well as discomfort. You may use his hate of being irritated to your minature horse training advantage. Stopping the provoking thing you were doing is his reward for doing as you asked. So go on and enjoy your small pony, and with the minature horse training you may both be content for a very long time!!

What is the best way to start off training my new and very green horse?
Ok, so I just got this new GORGEOUS Paint. I am currently boarding him. (but those details dont matter) Anyways, he is VERY GREEN. I dont even know where to begin with training him, I am 13, just to let everyone know. But I can ride pretty well. I am thinking just start of lunging him without a saddle on him, go from there, lunge him with a saddle on, then put a little weight in the stirrups, and then after a while finally get up and see how he does with me riding him. But I'm not sure, does that sound good? Does anybody have any advice on a training routine? All suggestions welcome!
Personally I love the Perelli method of training or the Lyons method. Both are natural horsemanship methods. They don't force the horse, they guide you and the horse to become partners.

Pantyhose under my breeches...equestrian question?
So I'm seventeen, and I do mostly jumping. I usually wear these panties: http://rs.runningwarehouse.com/rw/big/MCWMB-BK-big.jpg, because my parents won't let me wear thongs, Under these breeches: http://www.breechesusa.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_31&products_id=82. Anyway, the panties show through the breeches, and its sooo embarrassing, plus the panties feel like diapers. So I'm wondering if pantyhose under the breeches would work. Would they hide the panties? Or am I stuck with panty lines?
Wearing pantyhose under riding breaches is supposed to be better: They help with?
- Getting the breaches on and off
- Keeping you warm when ridding
- Stopping the breaches chaffing your legs
- Eliminating VLP
Hope this helps when you ride

Top 5 Ideas For a Wicked Wedding
Go ahead, express yourself! Your wedding will be one of the most important days of your life, and it should be all about you-even it that means going against the norm. It should rise above tradition to a place where your lifestyle and personality are the guides to planning a wonderful wedding day. Yet, many of the wedding magazines, websites and blogs are filled with only one type of wedding style with sugary-sweet tips that are just oozing with flowers and femininity, forgetting that everyone is not exactly the same. If too much frou-frou just won't do or you're a slightly quirky, off-beat bride who's looking for something different, nontraditional and out-of-the-box for your ceremony, here are a few ideas to help create the theme wedding of your dreams (and maybe even your nightmares.)
Mustache Weddings: For brides and grooms who walk just a little bit off the beaten path, a vintage wedding accented with mustaches can add a whimsical touch to the celebration. Always generating a laugh or two, just imagine your bridesmaids coming down the aisle wearing a lovely mustache. Or use them after the wedding for a fun group photo of the guests. No matter what the age, everyone will definitely appreciate this unique wedding favor. And in keeping with the vintage theme, your groomsmen are sure to appreciate the gift of an engraved pocket watch.
Medieval Weddings: Celebrate the fact that you've found your Sir Lancelot with a trip back to medieval times. A castle or stately manor would make an lively location for your medieval matrimony as the bridesmaids are dressed in velvet gowns and the groomsmen clad with cloaks and armor. Forget the flowers, and add a special touch with lanterns as a bouquet alternative for the bridesmaids. For a glowing wedding at dusk, place wine-bottle candelabras around the room to accent your candlelit ceremony. This would also make an excellent choice for a Celtic or Irish wedding-almost like traveling to a castle in Ireland.
Vampire Weddings: You can have a bloody good time with a vampire-theme wedding. Imagine drinking Vampire's blood (red wine) at the reception and giving fangs as wedding favors. With a kiss on the neck (instead of the lips), you and Count Dracula will begin your new afterlife together. Be sure to use a horse-drawn vintage hearse as your getaway car. Of course, everything needs to be in the color red. The color of love makes a excellent bloody backdrop for this wicked-wedding idea. Since many of your guests might not approve of your unique wedding theme, you could always give silver cross bookmarks to ward off evil spirits (or use as a dagger for unruly guests.)
Bride of Frankenstein Wedding: If this is your favorite horror movie, why not use it as a theme for your wedding? Offer foaming beverages from chemistry beakers along with a cake topped with likenesses of the monster and his mate. Complete with lightening bolt wig for you and Frankenstein mask for him, your guests will be in for an electrifying treat, especially if Mother Nature highlights your wedding with a thunderstorm.
Halloween Wedding: October 31st has long been a favorite for couples seeking a ghoulish good time for their wedding. Whether you're into all things Gothic or just want to scare up some fun for your special day, Halloween is an excellent day for a wedding. Replete with tons of imagery and inspiration, it's easy to plan this type of wedding in ghastly venues, like a cemetery or a haunted house. As an unusual twist to the traditional fall wedding, invite your guests to come in costume and end the night with a howl at the moon just for fun!
While these alternative wedding themes may be perfect for you, your guests may not agree with your choice. However, you must keep in mind that these are your family and friends we're talking about-the ones who know you best. If you've always walked on the wild side or they've always considered you to be a little off center, the fact is that they'll be disappointed if you don't inject a little surrealism into your special day. So go ahead and have fun planning the wedding of your dreams!

Interview with photographer Trevor Lush
John Trevor, who triggered the bloody face polar bears, rooms Operation virgin women in Las Vegas, camping and winter Olympic athletes in their study. If you go to hang a label on you as a photographer, what would it be?
Trevor: Years ago my job was to show some representatives of the photographer in New York and one of them said: "I am unsure what to do with you - you are a generalist! You shoot everything. Just pick one thing and then I know what I could do with you. "Being general was launched as a sort of language coarse. Perhaps that is why I gravitated toward the stock photography. I like being able to throw many different styles of photography, keeping things interesting, and I love being able to have all these different experiences. I think the firing of a particular style or a story which bore the hell out of me.
John: How do you have in photography?
Trevor I freelance for newspapers while still in high school. He then worked with a studio in my hometown before going to school photography. After graduation, attendance for several years with a range of studios and freelance for a number of photographers as well. I really tried to expose myself to as many different types of photographs as possible. I truly believe that attendance was the best education I have given myself, and began to take more time responsibility of a gun battle with the studios.
My first experience with stock photography, worked with a study on a contract that would produce Custom Actions for Microsoft. I spent a summer shooting table top stuff in his studio. Interesting to start learning about the pressures of cost per image and return the picture may give you.
Then I Hemera been hired by the photographer to be driving to his home team of photographic production. I worked with this company for two years, producing some 15,000 images Ablestock brand. After that I realized how much I loved filming values. I started on mine. The first agencies were signed with Icon, Uppercut, and JupiterImages.
John: You draw a line very carefully on the ground, both in studio and on site. What do you like filming most?
Trevor Each session brings its own set of challenges and unique energy. I think that's what I like about a career in photography - the variety! I like being in the middle of a big production with many parts, models, and crew! At the same time can be as rewarding as the food is shooting with my wife on our kitchen table. Also provided there is something in the corner, I test new forms such that the photograph of a surgical intervention for the health of a client or winter camp for a book publisher.
John: For you, what is the most difficult aspect of being a professional photographer?
Trevor: The biggest challenge for me has always tried to find time to work on all projects that I work at - and, of course, the balance with a busy family home.
John: I know that you are taking the measures taken by Blend Images. What percentage of your business is that agencies securities and do you work?
Trevor: Most of my business is values. I Blend Images done great things at this point, and have a fantastic relationship with its contributors photographers. I really enjoyed working with Veer too.
In addition, I kept busy Jupiterimages relationship in the past. Great with them over the past 4 years - the production of about 6,000 images a year. In addition, I images with handful of other agencies also.
John: How is the agency to send the work?
Trevor I do not spend much time taking pictures unsolicited trying to find a home for them after the fact. I work closely with my publishers to each agency, so I focused my efforts on producing images that agencies have a need.
John: Do you do any direct sales?
Trevor: I've never done direct sales. I think it will change in the near future.
John: You have in stock Micro has charms for you?
Trevor: I been approached by several different agencies, but I never shot Micro. Perhaps this will change if the right scenario presents itself. At this time I concentrate my efforts Protected rights and direct sales.
John: Do you have plans to enter video?
Trevor: Yes, for now, I'm looking for the right project to collaborate with a friend of mine who is an incredible camera.
John: What are some of the challenges photographers store these days?
Trevor: I think The biggest challenge is deciding where to place their images. There will be a resurgence of the rights protected? Is he gone too bloated Royality Free? Is there still time to make money on the bus? Will I get my money before the industry moves again?
John: Do you see your involvement in photography stock, change?
Trevor: I see that I work far from the large amount that I did in the past to a much more specific. Less images with more added value.
Juan: What is your favorite picture now?
Trevor: I'm bad at this ... I think I may one ADD or something, because I always flip flop new favorites, and I see old pictures and I get excited for them again. I was in Mexico there few years with Willie McElligott, a friend who was teaching a photography workshop.
While driving to a place to throw in the morning, we met a farmer raising sheep along the road. I made an image of a lamb that is led by one of the horses. He became one of my favorite photos travel. There is no production, just a simple photo.
John: He joined the world of the award, How can you sell?
Trevor: Most of my work assignment is spin-off items and places I have of the origin of Stock Photography Productions. Other than that, is a mixture of good old 'cold call and introducing editorial shoots. I have a better answer. I think I like getting into the same room with people and selling myself. I want to build relationships.
John: What is the role the Internet in their marketing campaigns? Do you have plans to expand this role?
Trevor: I 'm still very new on the scene social media, but I like it and see the incredible potential! I have a presence with the usual suspects, like a website, blog, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, LinkedIn, etc.
For now, most of my current clients are not very involved, so I am looking for the best social media to reach them. A client of mine writing discussed the construction of more interactive would have a significant presence on. I am excited by the initial interviews, but we are still at early stage.
John: The photographers who have influenced his career?
Trevor: The inspiration of all, I remember it was in 1988 when I was still in high school. Sports Illustrated an article by Muhammad Ali and his entourage shot Gregory Heisler. Magnificent photographs in black and white. I've never seen anything like it.
Years later, I heard a lecture at RIT call the appropriate response. He talked about the virtues of being a good photographer rounded, and be able to tap into a diverse group of photographic styles and techniques. I do not stay long.
More recently, I was fortunate to call many incredible photographers who not only influences, but also friends. These images are photographers who are probably the most open, encouraging and inspiring people I had the chance to sit in the same room.
John: Can you talk a memorable encounter you had?
Trevor: Difficult to define your criteria ... but I must say that I was fortunate to have participated in expeditions to the Arctic with a group called Students on Ice. An organization Incredibly This brings students from around the world for the polar regions to offer them an educational experience close to the ends of the earth.
Documentation of shipments has been a unique challenge for me as I never considered myself a documentary photographer. I'm so used to being in control the situation when I'm on stage, and with large images are held as to its subject is a great way to review their skills as a photographer.
In addition to experience working in the vicinity such as polar bears, walrus, seabird colonies, whales, glaciers, and icebergs - are people who come to share this experience with. The team of scientists, historians, artists, writers, educators, specialists the polar world, and the Inuit community, are very open and enthusiastic to share their knowledge and experience with all those around them.
These are virtues of quality we should all take in our daily lives.
John: Make sure the personal work?
Trevor: No personal projects at the time - maybe the year!
John: Do you make your own digital work?
Trevor: When the value of production volume was very high for sent editing a large freelance, I worked in Montreal for years.
John: You have a staff?
Trevor: No staff - just me. Some freelancers help from time to time, the workload becomes too heavy. But mostly, I did not sleep a heck of a lot more! Especially with the age of 3 years and 1 year at home, well!
John: optimistic or pessimistic about the future?
Trevor: Although it may seem absurd at times, I must be very excited at the changes occurring in the industry. New technology in imaging equipment ... new developments in Web 2.0 ... change in the industry to be more open and focused community ... We're on some really important moments in the creation of images and narrative.
